Let
me start by introducing myself - my name is Art Erwin, and I live and work in
Golden. I have lived in or near House District 24 the majority of my life,
attended Jefferson County Schools, I have two children - Adam (35) married to
Heather, Chloe (21) married to Jose, three grandchildren, Athena (10), Abraxas
(4), and Lila (1), and a foster grandson Kenny (13). I have a nearly 30-year career at Major Golden-based
Auto Dealership as the Human Resource Director.
Why do I love Jefferson County and Colorado?
When I travel through Jefferson County and Colorado, I relax – because I’m home. I love the views. I love the feel of the seasons. It’s like everyone is friends with one another. You walk down the street and everyone says “hello.” There is something for everyone. One of the things I love most is it's great diversity of cities towns and neighborhoods - from the old historic towns the bustling sky scrapers in downtown Denver.
Why am I running?
I am running to protect the future for my grandchildren, children, and yours. I have lived in and played in Colorado over 50 years and I want to make sure that generations to come can still camp and play throughout Colorado.
